Undercarriage Reasonably clean and rust free all good underneath with an overall light undercoating which has patinaed nicely. Feeding the engine is EFI, and on the back is a 2.73 axle. Keeping everything cool is an all electric fan cooling system. Bolted on back is the 4-speed automatic 700R4 transmission. Drivetrain A 5.7 Liter electronic fuel injected V8 can be viewed within an original engine bay with the flip of the hood. The top works flawlessly, and folds neatly into a rear fiberglass cowling all neat and seamless. Directly above this is an information panel that will illuminate any potential problems on this screen when they arise. The original radio is now replaced by an aftermarket JVC AM/FM/CD player. The steering wheel is showing some paint rub off and is wrapped in a leather covering. On the driver’s side the upper sill panel is becoming unglued and is moved away from the actual door just a bit. Door panels are molded vinyl and contain a central black actuator panel with locks and a courtesy light. Carpeting appears in good condition but has faded from its original gray to a lighter brown. Power windows, power steering and a key fob remote access button will get you into the rear storage area that has enough room to haul “stuff”. A digital driver information system is seen on the square design dash, as well as the 4-speed automatic transmission shifter in the console. Interior Gray leather buckets grace the inside of this Vette. 17-inch black wheels are on all 4 corners wrapped with good condition rubber. A black canvas convertible top is on and it presents in very nice condition with a clear rear plastic window. A rear spoiler in body matching blue is on back and we look like we are ready to go road racing. A Greenwood Corvette aero package has been mounted on to the bottom of this car and it includes extra fairings for the rockers, and rear of the car, as well as the front spoiler in black but sans the Greenwood nose. On back is some major scratching from battles lost with the curb on the rear roll pan. Some dulling in the paint, some areas of paint cracking and several inclusions have embedded themselves into this paint. Exterior All clean deep blue painted fiberglass is seen on this exterior in fair condition. For consignment, we now present, from way back in 1987, a morsel of Corvette history in the flesh, a Chevrolet Corvette! Drum roll please…. And now all sleek and trimmed with lots of power, no more chrome, retaining the hidden headlights and a much lower profile for the 80’s. From the 2-seat coupe when first introduced, to a fast 50’s classic, to the Stingray versions of the 1960’s and early 1970’s. It’s a timeless American sports car and has gone through several personality changes.
